Sustainability Workshop for TTC AgriS
LOGIVAN Logistics Group Joins TTC AgriS Sustainability Event: Paving the Way for Safer, Greener Logistics
At LOGIVAN, sustainability is not just a goal; it's a cornerstone of our mission to reshape Vietnam’s logistics landscape. We recently had the honor of joining TTC AgriS's annual sustainability event, where we shared insights on how logistics can play a transformative role in creating safer, more eco-friendly supply chains. This event provided a platform for industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to explore solutions to some of the biggest challenges in logistics today — safety and emissions reduction.
Fostering Safety and Eco-Friendly Practices in Logistics
Safety and sustainability are tightly linked in logistics. Ensuring driver safety, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to eco-conscious practices all contribute to reducing environmental impact. At TTC AgriS’s event, we showcased how LOGIVAN uses advanced technology to address these needs holistically.
One of the primary ways LOGIVAN is fostering safety is through real-time monitoring and data analytics. By equipping our vehicles with telematics, we monitor driver behaviors, such as speed, braking, and rest breaks, all of which are crucial to safe road practices. This not only protects our drivers but also reduces fuel consumption — benefiting the environment as well as our clients. Data analytics also allows us to optimize routes, minimize travel distances, and avoid congested areas, leading to fewer accidents and lower emissions.
Cutting Emissions with Smart Technology and Electric Trucks
One of our biggest milestones in emissions reduction is the upcoming launch of Vietnam’s first fleet of electric trucks. As we shared at the event, this shift to electric not only reduces emissions but also helps us set a benchmark for sustainability in the logistics industry. Electric trucks are especially effective for short-haul, inner-city deliveries, where emissions are concentrated. With our aim to electrify our entire inner-city fleet by 2030, we’re demonstrating that it’s possible to build a greener, more sustainable logistics network.
But electric trucks are only part of our strategy. Using AI-powered route optimization, LOGIVAN ensures that every journey is as efficient as possible. This technology has already saved over 8,000 tons of CO2 emissions by reducing unnecessary mileage and idling times. By avoiding backhauls and matching vehicles with shipments intelligently, we can reduce fuel consumption and emissions even further.
Collaborating for a Greener Future
Collaboration is essential to achieve meaningful sustainability goals. TTC AgriS’s event provided a great opportunity to discuss how partnerships between logistics companies, clients, and suppliers can create a greener supply chain. For example, sharing delivery windows and clustering shipments can minimize the number of trips required, which decreases both emissions and transportation costs.
LOGIVAN’s partnerships extend to our clients as well. By providing real-time visibility into their supply chains, we empower clients to make more sustainable choices. Transparency in logistics not only allows for better planning but also fosters trust, which is essential for long-term partnerships centered on shared environmental goals.
Looking Ahead: Our Vision for Sustainable Logistics
LOGIVAN is committed to continuing our sustainability journey. Joining TTC AgriS’s sustainability event reinforces our belief that greener logistics are within reach if industry players work together toward shared goals. Through ongoing investments in technology, electrification, and collaboration, we’re creating a logistics network that’s not only efficient but also safe and eco-friendly.
Our participation in events like this is a reminder of the importance of knowledge sharing and innovation. LOGIVAN’s approach to safety and emissions reduction showcases what’s possible in logistics when sustainability is a guiding principle. We look forward to building on these efforts and leading the way to a cleaner, safer logistics industry in Vietnam and beyond.
